Join fellow Austin-area* social studies teachers for an evening after-hours at the LBJ Presidential Library & Museum. After exploring the new exhibit on immigration, "Hearth and Home," Emily Glankler will present and lead a discussion on "Teaching Immigration" over dinner and drinks. Think of it has a museum visit/happy hour masquerading as PD. :)

The goal of this event is primarily to get teachers together to connect, build community, and find friends and allies in an increasingly tough job.
